About Crowdfund Recon
Crowdfund Recon is a research newsletter and database about companies that raise money under Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF). We read the filings they submit to the SEC, mainly Form C and its updates and annual reports, and report what those documents say. Every figure names its source.
The facts are free: crowdfundrecon.com has a page for every Form C, with the figures and links to the filing. The paid weekly briefing does the reading for you: every check that fired on that week's new and updated filings, with the filing's own sentence quoted and linked. A check that fired means "read this part of the filing closely." It is not a finding of wrongdoing. Free and paid compared: https://crowdfundrecon.com/plans/
It is edited by Kristofer Hickson, a former U.S. Marine, and published by Seven-Deuce Offsuit, LLC. We take no money from any company, funding portal or intermediary, now or later. Kristofer owns a $180 investment in First Jet Airways Inc. and discloses it beside every mention of that company. Full details are on our Editor's Holdings page.
We use AI tools to help gather filings and draft summaries. A human editor checks every fact against the source documents and decides what is published.
We are not investment advisers, brokers or a funding portal. Nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Reg CF investments can lose all of their value.
